This safari covers the Great Rift Valley, Africa's famous canyon. It continues to Lake Nakuru, home to hundreds of thousands of flamingos, pelicans, and numerous other birdlife, and it goes to the magnificent Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate. The tour ends at the renowned Masai Mara, which has been declared the 7th Wonder of the World with its spectacular migrating wildebeest.

Day 1 Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
Your driver-guide will meet you at your hotel or airport to kick off the safari adventure. You will depart at 7:30 am on the first leg of the safari. You'll enjoy a scenic drive that takes you through the stunning Great Rift Valley en route to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya's most renowned reserves. Along the way, you will have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering breathtaking vistas of this expansive valley. You will arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch and indulge in a delicious meal.
In the afternoon, prepare for an exhilarating game drive, where you will have the chance to spot the magnificent wildlife that inhabits the park. Known for its impressive predator sightings, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, Masai Mara shares a border with Tanzania and forms a vital wildlife corridor between the two countries. You will conclude the day with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2 Explore Masai Mara National Reserve
When animals are most active in the early morning and late afternoon, you will have the best opportunities to spot wildlife, including the elusive big cats, and capture stunning photographs. You will explore the vast grassy Masai Mara plains on game drives, searching for the iconic Big Five. You will witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the great annual migration at the Mara River, where massive herds of wildebeests and zebras attract predators in a thrilling display of nature's drama.
For an extra dose of excitement, consider participating in optional activities at an additional cost, such as visiting a local Maasai village. Alternatively, you can take a memorable pre-dawn hot-air balloon ride, providing breathtaking views of the golden savannah as the sun rises.

Day 3 Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from Masai Mara National Reserve and journey towards the Great Rift Valley through the picturesque Maasai plains and Mau escarpments. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. You will explore the park's diverse ecosystem, including viewpoints offering stunning photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is known for its flamingos and other waterbirds, with over 450 species of terrestrial birds. It has 56 species of mammals, including white rhinos and buffaloes. Immerse yourself in the beauty of this scenic park and its abundant wildlife.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha
You will conclude your Lake Nakuru National Park visit with an early morning game drive and breakfast. Next, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha, a popular freshwater lake in Kenya. You will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. Optionally, you can book a 1-hour boat safari on the lake to observe hippos and appreciate the picturesque scenery. Additionally, consider visiting Crescent Island, a private island on Lake Naivasha known for its diverse bird species and wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, and waterbuck. You will discover the natural beauty showcased in the famous film "Out of Africa" and immerse yourself in the serene surroundings of the Great Rift Valley.
