Our driver will pick you up from your lodge or the airport. Thereafter, you can visit the supermarket and buy snacks or anything else that you would like to pick for the trip before meeting with other travelers in town. You'll depart for one of the renowned viewpoints in the Great Rift Valley, which is about a 1-hour drive from Nairobi. You will get information about the formation of the Rift Valley as well as Kenya's history. Then, you'll drive for approximately another 2 hours to Narok town and finally, another 2.5 hours on a bumpy road. This reflects the true Kenyan jungle as you encounter the Maasai and their villages along the way.
On arrival in Masai Mara, you'll check into the lodge for a hot lunch and a 2-night stay. After refreshing, you will head for a late afternoon game drive in the park. After exploring the park and hopefully seeing one or two of the Big Five, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Meals & Drinks:
On this day, you will wake up as early as 6:30 am, then proceed to our dining hall, where you will find your buffet breakfast served by our cook. You will have 30 minutes of breakfast and leave for a full-day game drive with your packed picnic lunch. Our driver will open the pop-up roof so you can stand and have a clear game view while on your game drive. You will start spotting animals at a very close distance, and we advise our guests to have their cameras ready, as the animals are in their natural habitat, and action takes place without notice. Lunch will be served here. You will see the hippo pool, where, with luck, you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game, including antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, and Maasai giraffes, can be seen, as well as scavengers like hyenas and vultures. After lunch, you will proceed for another afternoon game drive and return to the lodge at around 5:00 pm for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Meals & Drinks:
You will depart from our safari lodge/camp at 10:00 am (with an optional visit to a Maasai village) and return to bustling Nairobi. Lunch will be served en route, arriving at about 4:30 pm. This unforgettable 3-day Masai Mara safari ends upon your arrival back in Nairobi.
